Words of Gratitude for St. Cecilia Day Performance

A great thanks to all of you who contributed to last Saturday’s celebration at Christ Church Cathedral for St Cecilia’s Day, an event that appeared to appreciated by musicians and audience alike.  We are all aware that a lot of time is invested in performing and in supporting such an event, and everyone at the Cathedral are most grateful for your contributions which were so warmly received.  I think the following note received at the office this morning underscores the community’s appreciation:

“Thank  you Thank you Thank you for the wonderful events of last Saturday.  I was spellbound for 6 hours as the various performances unfolded.  What a wonderful rich tapestry unrolled before us.  A true tribute to music in many of its forms.”
