Collaborative Concert with Vancouver Youth Choir

On Friday, April 8, 2019 the Victoria Children’s Choir and Vancouver Youth Choir spent the afternoon warming up and rehearsing together then shared a potluck dinner before presenting their collaborative concert later that evening. Here’s what one our of choristers shared about the experience:  I thoroughly enjoyed working with another choir and having the opportunity to share warm-ups and music. The V.Y.C. has an incredible director and group of singers, I think all of us made at least one friend. The V.Y.C. also had a great selection of music ranging from Bluegrass to Vivaldi which was a treat for all who had the pleasure of hearing them. I think I speak for the entire choir when I say that our experience of working with the V.Y.C. was a pleasure for both of the choirs and we had a great time.
