In July 2011, thirty-seven members of the Choir headed to Austria for a remarkable musical journey.

Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of “singing our hearts out“, the Choir had the honour of performing at the Summa Cum Laude International Youth Music Festival, in addition to a full roster of performances and experiencing the musical history throughout Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

Setting-off on the tour was a journey on its own. The Choristers and many parents, music directors, Board members, and employees worked hard over the previous two years to make the trip possible. Everyone knew the trip would be an unforgettable experience, but no one was truly prepared for the happy news when our Choristers placed first with “outstanding merit” in the Treble class at the Festival in Vienna. At home and overseas, we were all ecstatic and humbled by this accomplishment.

Today we’re still proud of this success, and thank all our supporters during 2011-2012 who helped make this incredible accomplishment happen!
